BERLIN STUDY PLUS (Exchange + Internship)

Combined theory-practice semester based on cooperative study programme

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5th semester of business studies
• Very good English skills (at least equivalent to B2 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference); TOEFL ITP 543 points,; TOEFL iBT 87 points; ELSA 383 points; IELTS 5)
• At least basic German skills (A1)

DETAILS

• 12 weeks of study in different business programmes
  • Students on the English stream can select modules from the following areas:
    • Soft Skills (e.g. Intercultural Communication)
    • Modules on general issues and topics in business administration and economics
    • Specialisation modules in Service Management and International Business Administration
• Participation in a German Language Course (strongly recommended)
• 8–12 weeks of internship in one of partner companies

THE INTERNSHIP

• High quality internships with project work
• Documentation of project supervised by a lecturer
• Internship seminars to reflect application of theoretical contents
• Credits granted for internship and project-related assignment

CREDITS

• Theory Phase: max.28 ECTS
• Internship + Project Paper/Internship Seminar: max.14 ECTS

BERLIN STUDY SEMESTER (Exchange Only)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

DETAILS

• 12 weeks of study in different business programmes
• English stream:
  • Soft skills (e. g. intercultural communication)
  • General modules Economics/Business Administration (e. g. Management)
  • Specific modules in the areas Service Management, International Business, Logistics & Transportation<
• Optional participation in German modules of regular business study programmes (e. g. Tourism, Trade and Industry, Facility Management, and Banking)

• max. 28 ECTS
