화학(Chemistry), 재료과학(Materials science), 생명 공학(Bioengineering)을 기반으로 다양한 바이오 소자의 표면을 연구합니다. 연구의 목표는 나노 소자 표면을 변형하여 최적의 생체 기능성(biofunctionalization), 생체 적합성(biocompatibility) 나노 소자를 개발하는 것입니다. 이 연구는 생체 시스템 내 합성 소자를 개발에 필요한 필수적인 정보를 제공하며, 궁극적으로 현장 진단형 생체 분자 검출 플랫폼(point-of-care biomolecular detection platform)과 같은 차세대 고부가가치 기술에 활용됩니다
