Translational Nanobioscience Our lab is focused on characterizing the interactions of biomacromolecules and nanomaterials with biological systems, and translating scientific insights into engineered solutions to address outstanding needs in medicine, biotechnology, and agriculture. Key research areas include biosensor development, interfacial science, and biophysics.  We also develop pharmaceutical drugs and nanomedicines for infectious disease, cancer, and immunology applications, especially lipid nanoparticle technologies.
