Engineering Education Innovation Center hold a presentation of the final results of the intelligence information connection S-HERO
The Engineering Education Innovation Center held the "2020 Intelligence Information Connect S-HERO Final Results Presentation" at the 2nd Engineering Hall of the Natural Science Campus on 11.13 (Friday), which concludes the creative research team's activities this year.
Professor-industrial mentor-team leader (graduate student) and team member (undergraduate student) formed a research team, and creative research activities that carried out the Capstone design research topic were more active than ever despite the aftermath of Corona 19.
56 S-HERO research teams with 302 students, 39 professors, and 51 industry mentors are divided into 6 categories: 1) Machinery/Aeronics/Joseon Marine Engineering, 2) Civil Engineering/Architecture/Environment/Resource, 3) Electricity/Electronics/Life/Material/Fiber, 5) Computer/IT/Other, 6) Online Platform Zo After the final screening, a total of 31 teams won the main prize, including one team for the grand prize, four gold medals, eight silver medals, and 18 bronze medals.
The 3CHEM team, which collaborated with DS Lab on the theme of Wireless LED dot Patch, was honored with the Sungkyunkwan University President's Award, and the S.O.L.A.R.S team of "COLLECTING LITHIUM-ION FROM THE DISCHARGE SEATCHATION OF LATER" team of "Developing Solar Smart Classification System through Recycling Mark Recognition."
At the finals, Shin Dong-ryul, president of Sungkyunkwan University, and Song Sung-jin, vice president of Sungkyunkwan University, made a surprise appearance using Zoom to encourage teams who have been conducting research activities until the end without getting tired even in difficult times. President Shin Dong-ryul said, "I believe the experience of participating in meaningful projects that solve big and small issues in the actual industrial field with team members in various majors will serve as a foundation for students' future growth."
