Professor Kim Sang-woo of the Department of New Materials Engineering, Selected as "2020 Top 10 Nanotechnology"
"Nano-power generation device technology for human implantation medical devices" and "Nano-heated material technology to improve electric vehicle efficiency" were selected as the top 10 nanotechnology in 2020.
The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced this year's top 10 nanotechnology at the 2020 Nano Convergence Performance Exhibition held at Yangjae L Tower in Seoul on the 26th and awarded ministerial commendations to those who have contributed to nanotechnology and industrial development.
Among the top 10 nanotechnology, "Nano Power Device-Based Human Insertion Medical Device Charging Technology" (Professor Kim Sang-woo of Sungkyunkwan University) and "Nano Carbon-Based High Efficiency Thermal Materials and Flexible Film Heater Technology" (CEO Kim Yoon-jin) were selected as representative technologies for nano-field.
Professor Kim Jin-young of Seoul National University, Professor Lee Nae-sung of Sejong University, Researcher Kim Jun-hyun of the National Nanotechnology Center, Director Oh Jae-seop of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and ICT, Kim Se-hyun of LG Chem, Kim Ki-bok, Professor Kang Min-sik of Pohang University, and Choi Ji-sup.
Lee Da-jin of Sookmyung Women's University and Lim Tae-kwon of Chonbuk National University received the Minister of Science and ICT award.
