IME5017 Studies on Physical properties of polyurethane 3 6 Major Master/Doctor - No
Polyurethane has a various application such as adhesive, thermoplastic elastomer, and crosslinked rubber. Therefore, the understanding of viscoelasticity, rubber elasticity, and phase separation is essential for the understanding of physical behavior of polyurethane. In this lecture, the basic elements of above mentioned basic knowledges and the understanding of basic technology for the design of new polyurethane will be provided.
IME5018 Recent Studies on the Functional PU 1 3 6 Major Master/Doctor - No
This lecture will provide general view on the current status, general material properties, and future perspective of functional polyurethane(PU) based materials used in industries, specially in electronics and information industries. This lecture will provide the reason why a specific PU materials should be use to the particular electronics or information industries by discussing the subjects on the structure-property-processing relationships viewpoint.
IME5019 Study of PU Elastomer for Hybrid Materials 3 6 Major Master/Doctor - No
In 21 century, biomaterials research field will have important role in medical industry for the construction of better human-life. But the developments in PU elastomer as clinical materials is reached at the critical point in application, therefore for the purpose of overcoming pre-mentioned limits PU elastomer must be reconstructured in their chemical structure and mechanical properties under the considerations of resolving tissue regeneration and substitution of damaged organs for direct implantation to living body. For this purpose, we provided several cources in graduate school of “Dept. of Polymer Sci. and Eng.” in contact with polymeric materials and living organs or cells. But through these courses, we could not suggest the real hybrid materials for above mentioned PU elastomer sufficiently. Therefore, in this course, we develop the brand new concept about hybridized PU elastomer using ceramic and composite materials under the consideration of rearing of professionalist for PU hybrid materials in industrial applications. To understand such a up to dated research field, we study hybridized knowledges of biochemistry, cell biology and PU chemistry in this course.
LAW4015 Environmental Law and Policy 3 6 Major Bachelor/Master 1-4 Law - No
This course will review how the law and policy have responded to various environmental issues being raised in the modern society and whether there is any need to improve thereon. This course begins with the discussion on what role the court should take in resolving environmental problems and further surveys available public policy measures. As interdisciplinary study is essential in constructing a paradigm of sustainable development, to the extent necessary, researches from the areas of ecology and social sciences will be presented in this course to reveal how those have been reflected on the law.
PHR5190 Environmental Risk Assessment 1 3 6 Major Master/Doctor 1-4 Pharmacy - No
This course deals with the risk assessment and management process of human health and effects of environmental pollutants including hazard identification, dose-response assessment, exposure assessment and risk characterization.
SPT5034 Topics in Research Methods of Sport Science 3 6 Major Master/Doctor 1-4 Sport Science Korean Yes
Methods and techniques used in the design and interpretation of research involving physical activity. Emphasis on styles of writing, library use, and computer applications.
SPT5044 International Affaires in Sports 3 6 Major Master/Doctor 1-4 Sport Science Korean Yes
This class further investigate ghe issue discuessed the of sports in rapidely changing foreign policy making by depth international relationships and affairs, Especially, influencing dynamics and the possible effects of foreign policy making will be discussed.
