This subject is on the flexible display technologies including liquid crystal display and organic light emmiting diode display. Also, this course includes basic properties of flexible substrates, flexible electrode materials and flexible semiconductor materials. Based on these material properties, we will discuss about the theoretical approaches and technical trends for integration technologies on flexible displays.

This lecture should be registered by the members of the Display Professional Training Track. The filed Training with participating companies and submit the outcome reports will be required. The students should have skills for solve the technical problems, learn the field application of various display technologies through the basic theory, and develop the student’s abilities that solve the problems by new ideas. The students will be received the instructions by the advisor and researcher of participating company. The important evaluation Criteria is the proper activities for industrial cooperation and solve the problems, not only work for companies during a set period.

The objective of this course is to provide and familiarize thestudents with the critical concepts and specifications of current and future mobile communication systems. More specifically, the following topics are included: GSM, CDMA/CDMA2000/W-CDMA, WLAN, WiBro, UMTS, and BCO. Also, personal wireless systems such as UWB and Bluetooth will be covered. In addition, basics of the digital broadcasting technology (US VSB, European DVB, mobile DMB, etc.) will be discussed.

The purpose of this subject is to learn a variety of techniques for designing neuromorphic systems mimicking the structure of a biological brain and accelerating the computation of AI algorithms. After understanding the structure of a biological brain and the operation principle of AI algorithms, students will learn about the basic properties of memristive devices and CMOS circuits as important tools to implement neuromorphic systems. The lecture also deals with the characteristics of state-of-the-art neuromorphic integrated systems and learns how to design low-power high-performance neuromorphic systems.
